About Us @ Kenton Marble & Granite

Kenton Marble & Granite, Inc. was established in 1893.  In the early 1960’s, Walt and Maxine Millisor took over the company and it has remained a family owned and family operated business since that time. Kenton Marble & Granite, Inc. is now operating in it’s fourth generation.

In1983, Russ and Jan Spearman, daughter and son-in-law of Walt and Maxine, became owner/ operaters of the company.  They are lifetime residents of Kenton; married and raised a family, Michelle and Timothy.

In 2003, Tim started working with his parents, learning the skills of the monument industry and utilizing his artistic abilities. In 2009 Russ retired and Tim’s wife, Faith began working for the company in 2010.

In late 2012 Jan joined her husband by becoming semi-retired.

January 2013 has brought Kenton Marble & Granite into it’s FOURTH generation of family workmanship as Tim and Faith have become the owners and continue this wonderful family tradition.

We are a local family owned business. We live and work in this community and take great pride in assisting families in the decisions involved in selecting a Memorial for their loved one.

Each and every family is very important to us.

Our goal is to provide them with the very best  in quality and craftsmanship so they have a Memorial that represents and reflects the life of their loved one.

We work with each family to provide them with help in whatever style of monument they desire from the traditional to the uniquely personalized Memorials.

Kenton Marble & Granite, Inc. offers many options for your Memorial. We can provide traditional sandblasting, hand crafted shape-carving and laser etchings, among other things.  Since we do our own work from designing to sandblasting, we are uniquely capable of providing whatever our customer needs.  We also have a complete inside showroom with a large selection of monuments to choose from so that you can see what you are actually buying.

We are proud to focus on “old fashioned” quality workmanship for every monument. Not only is the customer’s name on it, but it represents our name and work as well.

Our customers are considered part of our family and we sincerely want the very best tribute for each of them.
